OVER 80 YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT AND STILL NO END IN SIGHT.

Because it still gives us great pleasure to spoil our big and small, young and young-at-heart guests. And we are glad that our sophisticated ambiance and our personal and intimate nature is appreciated by our guests that way.

Today the Strandperle is a broad hotel complex, offering something for every guest. All this with very short channels of distribution, directly on the beach promenade. This is pure relaxation.

How it all began ...

1935
Adolf Heinrich, father of the current owner, acquired the Strandperle as a hotel with 18 beds.

1954-1960
Reconstruction to increase the bed capacity to 120 beds.
1970/1971
Remodeling the 3rd floor / south side to a flat roof.

1973
Generation Change: Adolf Heinrich bequeaths the hotel to his son Hans-Jürgen Heinrich.

1977
More construction work starts - remodeling the front-side of the hotel (facing the sea) and adding balconies.
From now on the hotel guests can enjoy the magnificent views of the Wadden Sea and the healthy fresh sea air from their rooms on roofed balconies.

1979/1980
The villa Stutzi on the Nordstraße is completed. Offering ten spacious, rustic-cozy designed apartments with living space for two to six people for some relaxing holidays.
The house has its own swimming pool in the basement.

1986
The Café Bellevue is opened after a major renovation. Due to its location on the 1st floor of the building, the guests can enjoy an indescribable view of the North Sea. The café has been popular with our guests as well as local citizens.

1990
Opening of the apartment building Seeschlößchen, close to the main house Strandperle and also located directly on the beach promenade. Here we offer our guests six elegant apartments. Again, a large pool is in the basement.

1995
Completion of the Strandperle's ground-porch facing the sea. The conservatory is completed. A light-filled room for breakfast, lunch and dinner with unobstructed views of the beach promenade included.

2000
The Admiral wing is attached to the main building of the Strandperle. 14 suites arise that - with their elegance and exclusive equipment - satisfy even the most discerning guest. Located on the 3rd floor is the wellness oasis (pool, counter-current swimming, whirlpool, sauna, steam bath, caldarium, massage room, beauty area). The murals are designed by the Nuremberg artist Wolfgang Harms. Here the guest receives a dreamscape with direct views of the Wadden Sea.

All hotel rooms and suites in the main building of the hotel are being renovated and updated to the latest state of the art with free internet access, Sky-service and flat-screen TV's and electronically adjustable beds.

since 2014
We decided to close the Inselcafé Bellevue at the end of 2013. It is now up to us, to give the "beautiful view" a new face, so that the first row to the Duhner North Sea beach is complete again.
